About The Malt Shop
The soda fountain was once the heart of Main Street, a marble counter, chrome taps, and a soda jerk who could spin a perfect scoop without a second thought. Malted milk was invented in the late 19th century as a health supplement before someone discovered it tasted extraordinary blended with ice cream and chocolate syrup. The sundae, the float, the parfait, each one a small, cold architecture of pleasure, built one layer at a time.
