About Hiking the Trails

The first mile of a trail has a particular magic, the weight of a full backpack settling into your shoulders, the smell of pine and damp earth underfoot, the way a trail map opens up like a promise. Every ridge crossed and every summit reached carries its own small triumph, whether the hike is a two-hour loop or a week-long traverse. The open air has a way of quieting everything except the crunch of boots on gravel and the wind moving through the trees.

How to play
