About Antiques

Every antique carries the fingerprints of lives lived before ours, a brass handle worn smooth by a century of hands, a painted chest whose gilt still catches the light. Dealers and auction rooms have their own unhurried rhythm: the careful turn of a piece, the lean-in squint, the quiet moment before a price is agreed. What one generation set aside as old, another finds and carries home as treasure.
