About The Binding & Border

The binding is the last word a quilt speaks, a narrow strip of folded fabric that wraps the raw edge into something clean and lasting. Whether it's cut on the straight grain or on the bias, hand-stitched to the back in tiny invisible catches or machine-sewn in a single confident pass, it finishes the work. A well-mitered corner lies perfectly flat, a small triumph that quilters recognize the moment they press it smooth.

How to play

  1. 1
    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last — the trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.
