Sanding & Smoothing: a free large-print word search

Sanding & Smoothing word search, free and large-print, where grit meets grain and every stroke brings the surface closer to perfect.

About Sanding & Smoothing

Before any finish can do its job, the surface has to be ready, and that means sandpaper, patience, and a good eye for grain. Woodworkers work through the grits in sequence, each pass erasing the scratches left by the last, until the wood is silky under the fingertips. A well-sanded piece catches the light evenly, drinks in stain without blotching, and tells you, quietly, that it's time to set down the block and pick up the brush.
