About Mythical Creatures

The Minotaur lived in a labyrinth on Crete, built by Daedalus for King Minos, and Theseus is the one who finally walked in and ended him. That's the shape of most of these stories: a creature stitched together from parts of animals, and a hero sent to deal with it. The griffin, with an eagle's head and a lion's body, ended up on coats of arms across medieval Europe, while the golem belongs to Jewish folklore, a figure of clay brought to life with words. Banshees come from Irish tradition, where a woman's keening was said to warn a household of a coming death.

How to play
