About The Songwriter's Notebook

Every song begins somewhere small, a phrase overheard on a bus, a chord that won't resolve, a single image scrawled in the margin of a notebook at two in the morning. Folk and singer-songwriter traditions have always honored that intimacy: one voice, one instrument, the truth of a felt thing finding its way into a rhyme. The notebook is the sacred space where the draft is messy, the stanza is crossed out and reborn, and the melody finally settles into something worth singing.

How to play

  1. 1
    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.
  2. 2
    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
