About Bergen and McCarthy

Sunday evening in the late 1930s meant the family drew up chairs around the big console radio, and a wooden boy in a top hat was about to insult a grown man on the air. Edgar Bergen made it work on the Chase and Sanborn Hour, and nobody at home minded that you couldn't see a single thing. It was all voice and timing, plus a monocle you had to imagine.

How to play

    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
