About At the Chalkboard

At the front of every classroom stood the chalkboard, dark green or pure black, framed in oak, with a narrow ledge cradling half-used sticks of chalk and a thick felt eraser worn pale with use. A teacher's hand moved steadily across it: capitals and loops, equations and diagrams, the scratch of chalk filling the room with that soft, dusty sound. When the lesson was done, the eraser swept it all away in billowing white clouds, leaving the board clean and ready for the next idea.

How to play

    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.

    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
