About Weighed on the Scale

Long before the price was printed on a label, it was settled on a scale. The storekeeper scooped flour or coffee beans into the pan, slid a iron weight onto the other side, and watched the brass beam find its balance. A twist of paper, a length of string snipped from the spool overhead, and the parcel was yours, weighed honest and tied tight.

How to play
