About Sixties Hitmakers

Between the twist craze of 1960 and the mud of Woodstock in 1969, American radio sounded like a different country every couple of years. Folk rock jangled out of Los Angeles, and somebody's garage band pounded out three chords in the basement while sunshine pop sweetened the dial. Most of it reached you through a small speaker in a kitchen or a car, which is probably why those songs still sound best at modest volume.

How to play

  1. 1
    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.
  2. 2
    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
  3. 3
    It marks itself.Each word you find takes on its own soft color on the grid and is crossed off the list.
