About A Sunny Australian Christmas

While much of the world wraps up in wool and watches snow fall, Australians celebrate Christmas in the full blaze of summer, bare feet on hot sand, a cold drink in hand, and the smell of a backyard barbecue drifting across the neighborhood. Carols drift from outdoor stages as families spread blankets in the park, and the cricket bat comes out before the wrapping paper has barely settled. It is Christmas with sunscreen on your nose and a prawn on the grill, and it is every bit as festive and full of warmth, just a very different kind of warmth.
