About The Spinning Dreidel
A dreidel is a four-sided spinning top, each face marked with a Hebrew letter, Nun, Gimel, Hey, and Shin, forming the acronym for "a great miracle happened there." Players gather around a shared pot of coins, chocolate gelt, or nuts, taking turns sending the top into its wobbly, hypnotic spin. The outcome of each turn, take all, take half, add one, or lose a turn, turns a simple wooden toy into a game full of suspense and laughter.
