About The Stanley Cup
The Stanley Cup is handed out in June, after two months of playoff hockey that leaves everyone on the ice running on fumes. The winning captain lifts it first, and then it gets passed down the line, one player at a time. Every name on it is engraved by hand, and it's still the only major trophy in North American sports that gets its own travel plans and its own handler.
How to play
