About The Boston Celtics
The old Boston Garden had a parquet floor with dead spots, and the home team knew every one of them. Red Auerbach built a dynasty there around Bill Russell's defense and Bob Cousy's passing, and the banners kept climbing the rafters. Decades later Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish carried the green into another golden stretch.
