About Skills and Moves

Soccer rewards a player who can make the ball do something the defender didn't expect. A well-timed STEPOVER or a feathered CHIP over a keeper's fingertips can change a match as surely as pace or power. Some of these moves have been around since the early professional game in England in the 1880s; others, like the elastico, were being refined in the Brazilian streets within living memory. The vocabulary of the game is half the pleasure.

How to play

  1. 1

    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
