About The Helmet

John T. Riddell patented a plastic football helmet in 1939, and the company that carries his name still outfits teams today. The shell and cage come first when a player dresses, then the chin strap snaps under the jaw, with shoulder pads, thigh pads and knee pads underneath the jersey and cleats laced last.

How to play

  1. 1
    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.
