About Tuscany

Tuscany's landscape reads like a painting that has barely changed in centuries, terracotta farmhouses anchored among silver-green olive groves, rows of vines climbing terraced slopes, and slender cypress trees standing like sentinels along dusty white roads. Each hilltop village, or borgo, holds a piazza where the afternoon light pools on old flagstone long after the heat of the day has passed. At harvest time the air turns heady with crushed fruit and woodsmoke, and the cellars fill with the deep garnet of another season's wine.
