About Mary Magdalene

Mary Magdalene walked with Jesus from the hills of Galilee to the streets of Jerusalem, one of a devoted circle of women who supported his ministry and never wavered. She stood near the cross when others fled, watched where the tomb was laid, and returned at first light with spices in her hands and grief in her heart. In that quiet garden she became the first to hear her name spoken by the risen Lord, a moment of recognition that has echoed through every age of faith since.
