About Queen Esther

The book of Esther unfolds inside the magnificent palace of Susa, where King Xerxes ruled a vast Persian empire and a young Jewish orphan named Esther, raised faithfully by her cousin Mordecai, rose to wear the royal crown. When the scheming Haman plotted against her people, Esther chose courage over comfort, approaching the king unsummoned and pleading for their lives at a carefully planned banquet. Her bravery gave rise to the joyful Jewish festival of Purim, still celebrated today as a remembrance that ordinary people can be placed, as the story says, in exactly the right moment for exactly the right purpose.

How to play
