About A Taste of India

Garam masala isn't one fixed recipe, and cooks across India blend it differently, though cardamom, cloves and cumin turn up in most versions. Biryani gets its layers from rice cooked with saffron and meat or vegetables, while dal, made from lentils, shows up at nearly every table.

How to play
