The Sushi Bar: a free online word search

A sushi bar word search, free and printable, with a chef at the counter and a bowl of miso steaming beside the soy.

About The Sushi Bar

Sushi began as a way to preserve fish, packed in fermented rice in Southeast Asia long before anyone in Edo thought of eating it fresh. The hand-pressed style most of us know came out of that city, now Tokyo, in the early 1800s, when it was sold from street stalls as fast food. At a proper counter the chef sets each piece in front of you one at a time, and you're meant to eat it right away, while the rice is still close to body temperature. Tuna, salmon, eel and the rest are only half of it. The rice, seasoned with vinegar, is what a good itamae spends years learning to get right.
