About The Corner Booth
The corner booth is the most coveted seat in any diner, and for good reason. Tucked against the window, it offers a view of the whole room, the counter stools spinning, the coffee being topped off, the chrome napkin holders catching the light. Tabletops surfaced in Formica, sturdy enough to outlast decades of elbows and pie plates, gave the American diner its particular feel: solid, unhurried, yours for as long as the coffee held out.
