About Pasta Shapes

Italy has hundreds of pasta shapes, and many of them are local to a single region or even a single town. Tortellini belongs to Emilia-Romagna, where cooks around Bologna and Modena fold them by hand and serve them in broth at Christmas. Ask three families which shape goes with Sunday gravy and you'll get four answers.

How to play

  1. 1
    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.

    Words run in straight lines.Across and down, and on the harder difficulties diagonally and backwards.
