About The Quilting Stitch
Hand quilting is among the most meditative of needle arts, a steady in-and-out rhythm that locks a quilt's three layers together with hundreds of tiny, even stitches. The thimble worn smooth on the middle finger, the hoop holding the work taut, the thread drawn through beeswax to keep it from knotting and tangling: each small ritual adds up to something warm and lasting. A finished quilt holds not just batting and backing but time itself, stitched in place row by row.
How to play
