A free folk revival word search, set in the coffeehouses and banjo-strumming college towns of the late 1950s and early 60s.

About The Folk Revival

Around 1958 a clean-cut trio from the Bay Area sold a murder ballad to the whole country, and suddenly every college town wanted a basement coffeehouse and a kid with a guitar. The old songs came up from Appalachia and the labor halls, and the singers who carried them were as likely to be in a button-down shirt as in overalls. Greenwich Village had the clubs and Newport had the festival, and somewhere in the middle of it a young man from Minnesota was listening hard.

How to play

  1. 1
    Find a word.Tap its first letter, then tap along to its last. The trail fills in and finishes itself when it spells a word. Or press the first letter and drag.
