About Buddy Holly
Charles Hardin Holley grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and dropped the extra e from his name on a record contract. He wrote his own songs, which was unusual in the 1950s, and he made them with two guitars, bass and drums. He was twenty-two when he died in February 1959, and the thick black glasses are the picture most of us still carry.
How to play
