About The Nile

The Nile has threaded through human life for thousands of years, its annual flood laying a ribbon of dark, fertile silt across the desert floor and coaxing fields of grain from ground that would otherwise be dust. Feluccas, the graceful wooden sailboats that have worked the river since antiquity, still lean into the breeze between Luxor and Aswan, their lateen sails catching the same north wind that carried the pharaohs' boats upstream. Along the banks, papyrus reeds whisper in the shallows, date palms throw long shadows, and the gray heron stands perfectly still, watching the slow green current pass.

How to play
