About Fireflies at Dusk

On warm summer evenings, fireflies rise from the grass in slow, drifting arcs, each one carrying a cold green light produced by a chemical reaction in its abdomen, no heat, just pure luminescence. The flashes are a language: males signal from the air while females answer from the stems below, a call-and-response written in light. For anyone who has ever chased that soft, floating glow across a dark yard and cupped it gently in both hands, the firefly is one of summer's most quietly magical gifts.

How to play
