About The Feast of Trumpets
On the first day of the seventh month, a single piercing note rose from a ram's horn and rolled across the hills, the ancient signal that the holiest season of the year had arrived. The shofar's voice is raw and urgent, shaped by three distinct calls: the long, unbroken tekiah; the broken, weeping shevarim; and the rapid, staccato teruah that trembles in the chest long after the sound fades. More than a calendar marker, the blast was a summons, to gather, to wake up, to turn the heart back toward what matters most.
