About The Golden Lampstand
At the heart of the Tabernacle's holy place stood the menorah, a single lampstand beaten from one talent of pure gold, its central shaft branching into six arms, each carved with cups shaped like almond blossoms. The priests tended its lamps every morning and evening, trimming the wicks and replenishing the olive oil so that the flame would never go out. That steady golden light, soft, fragrant with incense, constant, was understood as a sign of the divine presence dwelling among the people.
