About The Jazz Quartet

A jazz quartet strips the music down to its most intimate conversation: piano, bass, drums, and one horn or voice weaving around each other in real time. The pianist comps behind the soloist, sketching chords, leaving space, while the bassist walks a steady pulse that everyone leans on without thinking about it. When the drummer switches from sticks to brushes on a ballad, the whole room seems to lean in a little closer.

How to play
