About The Montreal Protocol

On September 16, 1987, representatives from nations across the globe gathered in Montreal and signed the Montreal Protocol, a landmark international agreement to protect Earth's ozone layer from the chemicals steadily thinning it. The ozone layer sits roughly 15 to 35 kilometers above the surface in the stratosphere, absorbing the sun's most damaging ultraviolet rays before they reach the ground. It is one of nature's most elegant shields: invisible, vast, and quietly essential to every living thing beneath the open sky.

How to play
