About Easter
The smell of a hot cross bun fresh out of the oven on Good Friday morning is about as close as a kitchen gets to a calendar. Easter has its own particular vocabulary, the waxy sheen of a dyed egg, the crinkle of basket grass, the white trumpet of a lily on the altar, and these word searches are built from exactly that world: the hunt across a dewy backyard, the parade hat that took three bobby pins to keep straight, the chocolate that somehow always melted a little before noon. Pick whichever one takes you back first, and take your time with it.
